By Vessel: American Yacht Harbor is located in protected Vessup Bay on St. Thomas East End.  Vessup Bay is immediately west of Pilsburry Sound, the channel between St. John and St. Thomas.  The marina is located immediately to the west of the busy Red Hook Ferry Terminal on the North Side of Vessup Bay.  Lat and Long position: 18.19.36 N 64.51.06 W

By Air: The St. Thomas airport, Cyril E. King International, is one of the largest in the Caribbean and generally sees a high volume of air traffic from the US and beyond.  This makes American Yacht Harbor very easy to get to from just about any destination with an international airport.  From Cyril E. King International, ground transportation is available to East End in the form of taxis, rental cars, public buses and hotel shuttles. 

Ferry Service: Passenger ferries between Red Hook, St. Thomas and Cruz Bay, St. John take about 15 to 20 minutes. Schedules are as follows:
Red Hook to Cruz Bay, St. John: 6:30 am and 7:30 am, then each hour 8 am to midnight Cruz Bay to Red Hook, St. Thomas: Each hour, 6 am to 11 pm.

Directions from St John: Board the ferry out of Cruz Bay to Red Hook, St Thomas ($10 round trip). You can walk from the ferry dock to American Yacht Harbor Marina by taking a left out of the ferry lot. American Yacht Harbor marina is located half a block up on the left.

Passport Info: U.S. citizens traveling to St. Thomas, St. John or St. Croix from the mainland USA need only government issued picture identification to gain entry, though carrying a valid passport is recommended. For tourists coming from any other country, St. Thomas, St. John and St. Croix require a passport. It is important to note that U.S. residents re-entering from BVI must have a valid U.S. Passport.
